Based in Cramlington, Northumberland in the north-east of England, Amnesty Northumberland is one of many local groups of Amnesty International UK, which is the UK national section of the worldwide Amnesty International movement.

The aim of the group is to make a difference to human rights in the world, to speak out and take action, to make change happen by getting together and taking action.
